We’re located in beautiful Cañon City right on Main Street. Although our shop is not open every day, we make it a priority to fit into your schedule! Give us a call day or night and we’ll be there.
We named our company "Possum’s Party" as a tribute to our daughter, the heart and soul of our business. From the moment she was born, we’ve always said that with her, the whole world is a party! Her energy and joy inspired us to create a business that celebrates life’s moments—big and small.
"Possum's Party" incorporates the love we have for her and all young people, reminding us of the excitement, joy, and love that’s all around us. It’s about seeing the world through the lens of celebration and making every event as special as she is.
Our journey has taken us from New Zealand to Australia and now to Canon City, and throughout that adventure, we’ve carried with us the values of resourcefulness, creativity, and family.
Naming our business also honors our Australian heritage, where my husband and daughter were born. Australia played a huge part in shaping who we are today—it's where we discovered our passion for event planning and learned how to turn everyday moments into something magical.
The name is a blend of our family's story, culture, and the unique experiences we’ve gathered along the way, and it reminds us to approach life and celebrations with a sense of joy and possibility.
